John Oliver Designs started at a kitchen table in San Antonio with a machine, a lot of thread, and a stubborn belief that the best gifts are the ones made with actual intention.
Hey, y'all — I am Nicole, the maker behind John Oliver Designs. I am the one at the machine, packing your orders, and probably the one responding to your DMs at midnight.
John Oliver Designs started about three years ago because I could not find the kind of gifts I actually wanted to give. Thoughtful, personal, put-together — the kind where you can tell someone really thought about it. So I bought a Brother PR1055X embroidery machine, taught myself on a whole lot of thread and YouTube videos, and here we are.
The name comes from my boys. They are the whole reason this thing exists — and the reason I learned to run a business on nap-time hours and late nights. Turns out love is great creative fuel.
Every single order is designed and made to order in San Antonio. I do not put my name on anything I would not be proud to give myself. If something is not right, I make it right — no runaround, just me.
